Hi there! I go by Willow Wormwood (they/them) online, I'm a digital artist focused on character illustrations and webcomics! I gravitate most to fantasy and horror with my work, and use an IPad and Procreate for my art. When not drawing, most of my past-time is spent playing videogames (favorites right now are Bloodborne and Hollow Knight) and TTRPGs (like Dungeons & Dragons)

✧ SOCIAL MEDIA ✧ It feels like myself and a lot of other artists are in a bit of a migratory stage with social media right now. Personally, I've grown tired of the increasing prevalence of AI Art and scraping for AI training, advertisements, and emphasis on a grind culture mindset with algorithms.

Because of this, I'm trying out different social media platforms to see which ones I like best. I'm still most active on Tumblr, and you can also find me on Cara and Bluesky. I have currently inactive accounts on Instagram and Cohost as well that I don't plan on deleting for now, if you just want to see old art on those.

Canaries in a Coal Mine - Short Story Webcomic

I worked as an artist on a collaborative short story, Canaries in a Coal Mine, inspired by cryptid tales from Appalachia. This 10 page comic short follows Austin, Will, Tomas, and Caleb as they venture into the abandoned mines during a misguided hunt for a coyote, only to come across something far more dangerous.

If you are interested in hiring me for linework and/or flat colors when I have availability, please email me with details of your project at [email protected] .Pricing is per panel for scrolling format comics and per page for traditional page layout comics. Pricing may change depending on the complexity of the artstyle, how detailed the sketches provided are, and the scope of the project. All prices will be negotiated and set before payments are made and any work is started.
